They have great fresh authentic Mexican food. Fresh made big flour tortillas. Prices are very reasonable. Waiters are great! Food delicious!!! Very clean facility, beautiful place.
Loved there tortillas.. margaritas everything IS great but ther chips theirs something wrong with them. They dont seem to be nacho chips like at other places. Maybe they are white corn instead i don't know. They are plain gross i never eat them
Delicious authentic Mexican food. I had the half order combo fajita plate, it was more than enough. Tender beef and chicken, well seasoned with beans and rice. My wife had the combo plate. The tamales were perfect. Great service and terrific atmosphere. This was no national brand or tourist spot; all the locals eat here. They know it’s the real deal! My new favorite Mexican restaurant in the DFW area. We’ll definitely be back.
Food is always great. The service and atmosphere is not why you go here. You go here cause you want a great meal, a d every time I come here I get a GREAT meal.
Been here twice, with out of town family. The carne guisada is amazing!! And their pancake type tortillas are so filling! My first time there I ordered half dozen more, just to make sure everyone had enough…. No joke, when the server came with then I said, “who ordered pancakes?!” Love this place!!
Omg!! This freaking place was sooo good!! The food was fresh are waiter was so friendly soup, i never tasted soup like that! But them tortillas even lil chunkie monkey loved them! And they had a kids menu that offered chicken nuggies which were also good!????????????
Very good food & delicious warm, fresh salsa. ????This restaurant is so good it's hard to get into the parking lot. As soon as a parking spot opens up, somebody's there to fill it. We decided that was a good sign. ????
I was invited to dinner for some delicious Mexican Food and Gonzalez did NOT disappoint! I had Guiso Mexicano, which was tender beef tips in their spicy green sauce, with rice and beans, plus their awesome homemade Flour Tortillas, along with a Mexican Coke, it was all so Delicious! Their decor was so festive and the staff was very nice and attentive. The Restaurant was very clean and Family friendly. I most definitely will go back.
My family and I have been going to Gonzales for literally my entire life. The food is delicious and every server that we have met through the restaurant has been extremely kind and welcoming to my family. This is a place that I hope to take my kids to someday.! The enchiladas are delicious as well as the pozole on the weekends. I recommend Gonzales to everyone!
